Assembly & Dispatch

The assembly department brings together all the work from the shop floor departments to build the finished product.  From simple sheet metal fasteners and inserts to highly complex assemblies  including simple wiring and testing our team work from detailed drawings and documentation and perform final build quality checks to ensure the product matches the customer and our own standards.  The assembly department can work on assemblies before powder coating as well as the assembly of components after powder coating alongside both metal and non-metal parts. 

This means we can offer you a full turnkey solution from design all the way through to assembly and dispatch.  For parts not manufactured in house we can offer a sourcing and procurement service, whether this is machined components or LEDs and electrical components.  We can also work with parts on a free issue basis with recent examples being wiring looms and digital screens.  Examples of recent jobs in the assembly department include high street digital signage totems and lecterns, payment kiosks and large plant room enclosures.

Delivery of finished products can be carried out nationwide with our fleet of vans.  Finished products can be delivered to the end customer meaning savings could be made on storage and warehousing.  

As part of our ongoing commitment to becoming a greener company we can advise on the alternatives to plastic packaging. For repeat and rollout work we can also design and manufacture reusable pallets and stillages meaning the finished product will be delivered damaged free to site.
